Casa Blanca is situated just outside Almogia in a rural area with lovely far reaching views of the surrounding hills.
Casa Blanca is a comfortable modern villa, on one level.
Both bedrooms have ceiling fans and good wardrobe and cupboard space. The kitchen is well equipped with a fridge freezer, fan assisted oven and grill, gas hob, toaster, kettle and microwave. There is also a washing machine located in the outside area.
The bathroom has been completely refurbished at the end of 2023 and has a large walk in shower. A hairdryer is available.
The lounge has two comfortable sofas. There is a ceiling fan. For the cooler evenings in the winter, there is a wood burner with logs available for the wood burner along with a calor gas heater for background heat. The lounge has a TV along with a Firestick. This has a few apps on it, for example, Netflix, Amazon Prime and one or two other apps which allows some access to British TV. There is an HDMI lead to plug a laptop or tablet into.
There is a stereo system with radio, blue tooth and a USB port for devices, ie tablet or smartphone.
The dining room has a large table comfortably seating 6 people. There is a ceiling fan. The villa has WiFi and an external WiFi range extender enabling good WiFi around the pool area.
The villa is equipped with games and books. There are local maps and information on the area.
The villa is set up for al fresco style living with a private swimming pool and sun terraces. The upper terrace is on one level with a covered area adjacent to the villa with a table and chairs. There is a tree shaded terrace with dining table, chairs, sun lounger and small children's payhouse. There are steps down to the large private swimming pool (8M x 4M) with its own terraced area for poolside relaxation with sun loungers and parasols, along with a permanent canopy offering shade. The swimming pool and terrace are gated. The garden and paddock area are well stocked with trees and beautiful flowers. There are also outdoor games equipment, ie bat and ball, lilos and woggles for the pool.
Almogia is a 2km drive from Casa Blanca. There is a good sized supermarket along with a selection of shops. There are several bars and restaurants all serving good reasonably priced food. The nearest bar/restaurant serving good food is approx 2km. It is 40 minutes to drive from Malaga Airport and a car is advisable (car hire easily available at the Airport). Places of interest you may want to visit include the Caminito del Rey, climbing at El Chorro and water sports at the Ardales Lakes, El Torcal National Park which has the longest limestone rock formation in Europe. It is a 40 minute drive from the beaches near Malaga and Malaga 'old town' itself is well worth a visit. Casa Blanca is also a good base for walking and hiking.
