Camping Valkanela is set in a beautiful 2-kilometre long bay between the fishing village of Vrsar and Funtana. The holiday park features several, diverse beaches (pebble, rock, sun plateau) from which you wonderfully overlook the azure sea and the small islands that are so characteristic of Croatia. There are also three freshwater swimming pools and an accompanying sunbathing lawn. In the neighbouring restaurant, you can have a light meal during the day and have delicious fresh food in the evening. Especially the fish dishes are highly recommended! For the sports enthusiasts, there are four tennis courts and bicycles/mountain bikes can be hired. Of course, the kids will not be bored, even for a moment. During the months of July and August, there is fun animation and there are several playgrounds. There is even is a floating water park in the sea.
The picturesque village of Vrsar (just 2.5 km from Camping Valkanela) has a rich wine and fishing history that can still be seen and, of course, tasted. Another old city is Rovinj (about 30 km) and is definitely worth a visit. The city centre is located on a peninsula with a hill as its foundation. This makes the face and a tour through the upward slope into the core very special. The rocky surroundings are great for beautiful mountain bike tours. In this way you will encounter the most beautiful and deserted places. Dolphin-watching is an absolute must-do! Along the coast at Vrsar and Rovinj, various excursions are organized, where you do not need luck to see dolphins.

The spacious Camping Valkanela features various types of accommodation. The standard type chalet (HR-52452-08) is located at the edge of the park, near the large swimming pool and the restaurant. This type is comfortably furnished and features two bathrooms, air conditioning and a beautiful veranda with garden furniture and loungers. The premium variety is the same, but it's located a little further from these facilities; instead it's situated in an area with several small swimming pools. This way you'll share a swimming pool with a number of other chalets. In total, in this area there are 12 swimming pools, shared by 119 chalets. The distance to the beach and the sea varies with both types between 100 and 500 metres.
