In the small town you will find shops, bars and restaurants. The beautiful sandy beach of Fontane Bianche and the rocky coast can be reached from here in about 20 minutes by car. Activities nearby : The unique city of Syracuse is just a short drive from your vacation home. Already in ancient times it was considered very powerful and was once the cultural center of the Greeks. Even today, there are many testimonies to the long history of this special city, especially on the 40-hectare island of Ortygia, the core of the old town, for which you should plan a day. A tour to the nature reserve of Vendicari, around 40 kilometers away, a mixture of lagoons, sand dunes, rocky coastlines and sandy beaches is also recommended. Here you can discover a variety of flora and fauna. Also visit the baroque town of Noto, which was almost completely destroyed in an earthquake in the 17th century and then completely rebuilt
