Camping Punta Navaccia is situated on the shores of Lake Trasimeno Nature Park. It is just a short distance from Tuscany and is surrounded by the green hills of Umbria. The region is rich in history and culture. Thanks to its natural beauty, this area is regarded as the green heart of Italy. Camping Punta Navaccia is the ideal setting to enjoy a delightful and care-free holiday. The holiday park has a long and wide rocky beach with docks and floating platforms. The holiday park has a cooperation with the nearby sandy beach, which can be used with a discounted rate. You can kite surf and wind surf here, and go sailing and canoeing. In addition to a large campground, the holiday park also has 75 chalets. The surrounding area offers plenty of options, though there is also no shortage of things to entertain you in the park itself. There are two swimming pools, one for adults and one for children, a jacuzzi, a small harbour with 200 boat moorings, a large covered amphitheatre, organised events in Italian, English, German and Dutch, a playground, a dance club and a tennis court. From the park you can go boating on the lake for daytrips. There is also a bar, a supermarket, a restaurant, an internet point and WiFi. Some interesting cities that are definitely worth a visit are: Assisi, Perugia, Rome, Florence, Siena, Arezzo and Orvieto. And your to-do list has to include Tuoro sul Trasimeno itself, where in 217 BC the famous battle between the Romans and Carthaginians was fought. A great holiday spot with plenty of options for all ages!
The three different types of 6-person chalets (4 adults and 2 children) are spread across the Punta Navaccia holiday park. There is a standard type (IT-06069-01) and a superiort type with wooden veranda (IT-06069-20), as well as a deluxe type (IT-06069-57). The Superiortype is newer and closer to the lake, the Deluxetype is also newer and more modernly furnished, and has a closer location to the lake. All types are neatly furnished and have garden furniture.
The campsite is ideally located between Tuscany and Umbria, directly on Lake Trasimeno.
On the nearby sandy beach with free sun loungers and parasols, you can not only swim, but also enjoy all kinds of water sports:
Windsurfing, kitesurfing, sailing, canoeing, stand up paddling, wakeboarding and water skiing.
Younger guests will love the floating bathing islands.
Wi-Fi is available throughout the campsite and, for the sake of the environment, there are also charging points for e-bikes (free of charge!) and cars (for a fee).
The entire area is over 70,000 m2 in size and offers a large covered amphitheatre for performances.
You can also enjoy seasonal entertainment (including miniclub), disco, tennis, basketball, beach volleyball, football and table tennis.
Swimming pools are of course also available (open from around mid-May).
A playground, public barbecue area, supermarket and restaurant/pizzeria round off the facilities.
Depending on the season and availability, there are even free excursions to Maggiore Island or by dragon boat!
Dogs are welcome.
Mobility: not suitable for people with reduced mobility.
Specifics
• You can bring your own boat if you'd like (you must arrange a place in the harbour beforehand and this is only available upon request). Please observe the applicable rules and regulations on the lake. The maximum horsepower for boats on the lake is 50 HP and two-stroke engines are prohibited.
