The Price includes:

- EuropAssistance insurance to cover penalties in the event of cancellation of the stay = In addition to objectively documentable and unpredictable health or work reasons at the time of booking, you can cancel and be reimbursed in case of reasons related to: Covid-19 infections, epidemics and pandemics that directly affect you, your travel companion or family member; terrorist attack that hit the place of stay.
- Stay cancellation cover due to lockdown = It protects you and your travel companions in the event that you are forced to cancel your stay in the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, due to the occurrence of Covid-19 epidemic containment measures officially imposed by the Governments/competent authorities.

Sferracavalli is a delightful little villa just outside Sarteano, a picturesque medieval borgo full of architectural masterpieces, located on the slopes of Mount Cetona south of Siena, between the southern Val di Chiana and the harsh and wild Val d'Orcia and very close to the regional borders of Lazio and Umbria. Stone, brick and wood are the materials used to shape this welcoming, recently built house where the rooms infuse a warm, homely atmosphere with the simple classical décor, chosen with great attention to detail and with a harmonious colour scheme. Guests can just relax in the outdoor areas or by the pool or else go for walks along the peaceful country lanes that dot the property. Sarteano, with shops and restaurants, is within easy walking distance and not far away is the motorway (Autostrada A1, Chiusi-Chianciano Terme exit) and the railway station of Chiusi. The house is an excellent departure point for exploring the amenities of a territory that has so much to offer the curious traveller, anxious to discover the timeless charm of the artistic treasures to be found in the beautiful villages in the area (Cetona, Montepulciano, Pienza, Montalcino and many more), or the enchanting natural landscapes along the scenic roads, or the typical flavours of a land that, in modern times, still conserves the taste of authentic tradition. Finally, you can not miss a visit to the spas that characterize this part of the region that boasts the highest concentration of spa resorts, from Sarteano, Chianciano, San Casciano dei Bagni and Montepulciano to Bagno Vignoni in the Val d'Orcia.
Interior:
The rooms are all on the ground floor. The main entrance, under the portico, leads into the living area with sitting room, dining area and kitchen. This leads on to the sleeping area, centred around a small hallway, with a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower (and with direct access to the outside) and a twin bedroom, served by a bathroom with shower. Next to the main entrance is the laundry room with access from the outside.
Air conditioning only in the bedrooms.
Park:
A well-maintained park of about 1.500 square metres, completely fenced-in, surrounds the villa. The garden, with lawn and many flower beds, contains various fruit trees - walnut, cherry, plum, loquat and apricot. Two outdoor dining areas, shaded by the thick foliage of a hazelnut tree, have been set up in front of the house, beside a hammock, with opposite a large pergola and a brick structure with wood oven and barbecue. Next to the pool, covered by a gazebo with climbing plants, is a paved area for playing boules. The property has a parking area in front of the house, just past the entrance gate. Another, manually-opening, gate leads to the large olive grove and vegetable garden cultivated by the owner who invites guests to take advantage of the available seasonal vegetables.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The pool is set in a sunny position, in the well-tended lawn of the beautiful garden in front of the house, which is a few metres away. The rectangular pool, lined with PVC, with terracotta border, internal lights and entry ladder, measures 3x7m with a constant depth of 1.20 m. Purification is chlorine with a natural anti-allergic system. Around the pool, in the sunbathing area bounded by a screen of bushes, are sunbeds, deckchairs, a play area for children and a gazebo with sofa and armchairs. There is also a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April until the first Saturday in October.
