A unique, contemporary villa, which is set in private grounds, not far from the stunning Baroque town of Scicli in south-eastern Sicily. This property sleeps 6 people and offers a tranquil retreat, with the option of exploring some of Sicily’s fascinating historical towns and sites close by.
The single-storey villa is full of light and has many glass doors that open directly onto the pool terrace. The open plan living area is dual aspect with a second set of glass doors leading out to the back garden. The décor is chic with beautiful colours throughout. The seating area includes a sofa and comfortable armchair plus a large flat-screen TV. The dining table and chairs are next to a separate kitchen, reached through a large arch. The immaculate kitchen is equipped with a cooker hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge/freezer. A glass door leads out to the garden.
The house encourages indoor/outdoor living and it is hard to resist the lure of the swimming pool, just across the wooden decking that runs down the side of the property. The deck is furnished with sun loungers and a casual dining area, in the shade of a lush tree.

The villa has 3 airy bedrooms, which all have glass doors opening onto the deck by the swimming pool. Each has a double bed, wardrobe and an en suite bathroom.

The stunning en suite bathrooms are beautifully appointed with showers, basins, bidets and WC’s.

Close to beautiful beaches and historical sites, this villa is in an ideal position for guests to enjoy everything the region has to offer. It is on the eastern edge of Scicli, a jewel of a town, packed with Sicilian Baroque architecture, excellent restaurants and cafés where visitors can soak up the atmosphere. For self-catering, Scicli’s weekly market takes place on Tuesday mornings in Via Saffi.
The villa is just 10 minutes from the coast. The medieval fishing village of Donnalucata is known for its wide, sandy beaches and sleepy atmosphere. It is home to several fine restaurants where you can sample the freshest local fish.
Catania’s International Airport is a 1 hour 35 minute drive from the villa.
