Local entertainment
Locally, we recommend Local Macelleria Iurlario, Via Machiavelli, 5, 72018 in San
Michele Salentino - as many typical restaurants in this area, is located inside of a butchery. Fresh meat can be chosen and prepared now. Wonderful raw meat selection perfect for meat “carpaccio”. A simple place where the flavour of the Salento tradition can be tasted. We recommend l'Essenza Ristorante in San Michele Salentino, an elegant fish restaurant.

Special places
The white beacon of Ostuni, draped across its three hills, marks the end of the Trulli district and the beginning of the hot, dry Penisola Salentina. Like Locorotondo, Ostuni has a commanding position, its maze of tightly packed streets twisting around a dramatic 15th-century cathedral encircled by medieval ramparts. In recent years it has become devilishly chic and has the best after dark scene in the district. Ostuni is known as the White City for the colouring of its houses in caustic limestone, making them visible from afar. The historical centre of Ostuni is one of the most beautiful in Italy and it is known all over the world for its most original architecture. Its geographic position has allowed, better or worse, of being the strategic objective of the many people who have invaded and dominated the city leaving the mark of their passage in the centuries. Ostuni has an enviable location jusT 16km from the coast. And its pretty coastal fraction, Villanova, is a pleasant place to escape to in the evening for ice cream and sundowners. You’ll find nice sandy beaches between Pilone and Torre Canne, one of the nicest and quietest being Bosco Verde.
The following might be to be paid extra: Airport Pickup, Continental Breakfast, Cook, Pre-arrival grocery service, Refundable Security Deposit by credit card, Tourist tax.
