La Stazione is really an old railway station, built in 1924, housing since 1944, continually renovated. Located on the outskirts of the village of Colle di Compito on the road between Lucca and Pontedera. Distance to Lucca 15 minutes, about 50 to Florence, Pisa (airport) 40, to the sea about 20th Spacious (320 sqm), high ceilings, garden (3000 sqm) with large swimming pool, terrace, herbs and many fruit trees. Villa La Stazione located on the outskirts of the village of Colle di Compito (between Lucca and Pontedera). Up in the village there is a small supermarket, a bar, a pizzeria and a very charming restaurant, Il Giardinetto, all within walking distance. In the other direction (see map or Google Earth) is a small lake, ideal for walking or jogging. In the neighboring village Santandrea play tennis and retrieves its crystal clear spring water in the taps located just off the road.
