Location and area: Villa Lorca is situated on flat land, (no tracks or mountain roads to negotiate) with immediate access off the old straight Roman road from Lorca to the coast. The street is flanked by beautiful houses of both modern and traditional build . Parking is available outside or in the enclosed area with automatic gates. The gardens have a variety of fruit trees, including, lemon, figs, pomegranate, almond and stunning grape vines.
Idyllic but within minutes of towns and coast, the surrounding valleys are largely agricultural land, where you can see beautiful almonds trees and the orange and lemon orchards, as well a the fresh vegetable produce, grown in the area.
Lorca and the coastal towns are still very Spanish, the real Spain, where prices are yet very reasonable for drinks, shopping and meals out. A 6Km drive takes you to the nearest shopping centre with bars, cinemas, bowling and restaurants. (open 10am to 10pm) Monday to Saturday.
