Included is a ground floor bedroom with twin beds and a separate shower room for those who prefer not to climb stairs. The villa has a large outdoor private pool and a number of terraces for dining and/or relaxing while you enjoy the incredible views. There is also a separate Loggia housing a full sized table tennis table and barbecue. Beside the Loggia is a giant outdoor chess set. There is also a Boules/Petang set and a pool volleyball net for the more active members of your group. The Palazzo was completely yet sympathetically renovated by local artisans, retaining its magnificent chestnut beams, vaulted ceilings and stone floors. It has a fully equipped kitchen with Godin cooker and two dishwashers. The open plan kitchen/dining room also has a seating area to the front of the villa. There is a games/TV room on the ground floor with table football and a large formal sitting room with original fireplace on the first floor. There is a small library in this room and please feel free to choose a book or leave one behind.
The villa is gated and fenced and perfect for getting away from it all.
The picturesque hilltop village of Monte Santa Maria Tiberina can be seen from the front of the property and is just a 10/15 minute walk away. Here you'll find a great locally owned restaurant, bar and shop for general supplies, post office and a museum . Just 10 mins by car is the Caldese Golf Club and Equestrian Centre. For the more serious golfers, Antognolla Golf Course is about a 45min drive. Citta di Castello, 15 minutes by car, is a buzzing town packed with restaurants, bars, cafes, supermarkets, sports facilities and shopping. Bike hire is available in Citti di Castello and there are many bike trails along the River Tiber as well as into the hills.
The outdoor/music events held in the numerous piazzas around Citta di Castello in the summer months create a fantastic, warm, family friendly atmosphere.
