The villa is surrounded by beautiful woodland with a number of picturesque nature walks featuring panoramic views over unspoilt countryside. If you are lucky you may spot eagles, wild boar or see the hundreds of fireflies that light up the garden in early summer.
It is just a 5 minute walk to the local bakery, selling fresh artisan bread. 10 minutes drive to the nearest town. 50 minutes from the coast (Lerichi, gateway to the spectacular world heritage site of Cinque Terre). It is an excellent base for which to plan excursions to Lucca, Florence and Pisa. There is ample parking, fantastic traditional local food available in restaurants just a short drive away. The Villa is tastefully furnished throughout and comfortably sleeps 9. It is also just 30 minutes from the local ski resort of Cerreto Laghi, great for skiing in the winter and walking in the summer.
