Camping Kastanija is a small-scale holiday park in northwestern Istria, about 2km from the historic city of Novigrad. At the park you will find a few facilities for your convenience and comfort. Good examples of this are the restaurant and a shop. You'll find plenty of ways to keep cool at the holiday park. Unlike many other locations, Camping Kastanija does not have one large, shared swimming pool, but several small swimming pools. This also emphasizes the park's small-scale character. If you leave the park via the back entrance, you will already be at the beautiful Adriatic sea with a 50m walk. There are several stone plateaus and rocky beaches from which you can take a wonderful dip and sunbathe. Although you'll be staying almost directly by the sea, this region is also characterised by beautiful forests.
Novigrad is a short distance from Camping Kastanija. Originally a fishing town, it now has a beautiful marina and the medieval centre is still in very good condition. The various restaurants by the sea, harbour and in the centre are the perfect places for a delicious dinner in the right setting. You can take part in a variety of water sports in Novigrad and a little further inland you will find the large Aquapark Istralandia water park with a huge amount of swimming pools and slides.

These beautiful chalet at Camping Kastanija are very comfortably and modernly furnished. You have the choice of a 6-person chalet (HR-52466-32) with two bedrooms and two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite) and an 8-person chalet (HR-52466-33) with three bedrooms and one bathroom. Both types have a sofa bed, so the 6-person is suitable for 4 adults and 2 children and the 8-person is suitable for 6 adults and 2 children.
The beautiful covered terrace is equipped with garden furniture and therefore well-suited for sitting in the shade.
The holiday park does not have just one big swimming pool, but rather several small swimming pools, so on average there is a swimming pool for every 8 chalets. The chalets are set directly around one of these swimming pools.
