- EuropAssistance insurance to cover penalties in the event of cancellation of the stay = In addition to objectively documentable and unpredictable health or work reasons at the time of booking, you can cancel and be reimbursed in case of reasons related to: Covid-19 infections, epidemics and pandemics that directly affect you, your travel companion or family member; terrorist attack that hit the place of stay.
- Stay cancellation guarantee for Lockdown = In the event that you have to cancel your stay due to lockdowns issued by governments in the 30 days prior to check-in due to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic: national lockdown Italy; local lockdown in Italy concerning the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation); national lockdown of your country of residence; local lockdown in Italy in the Municipality or in the area of residence. 

The price does not include:
Mandatory extra cleaning in case of animals (€ 50,00 per animal per week or part of week). Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
Tourism tax (where applicable).

Villa Mulberry is located a few minutes' drive from Sciacca, a picturesque coastal town famous for its beautiful beaches, port and lively historic centre, with narrow medieval streets, ancient churches and numerous places where you can sample the local cuisine with fresh fish, olive oil and the famous Sicilian wines. The villa is located in a residential area just a short walk from the sea. . This modern, newly-built villa is situated 50 metres above sea level and covers about 350 sq m distributed over two floors, with cosy and convivial spaces, perfect for relaxing or dining in company both indoors and outdoors. The bedrooms are spacious and airy, and the large French windows, both in the living room and in the bedrooms, create a harmonious continuity between the indoor and outdoor spaces. The pool area, with its essential lines, is the heart of the villa, ideal for relaxing both during the day and in the evening. The terraced garden surrounding the villa extends over several levels, with paths and paved terraces, connected by steps here and there. From here one can enjoy spectacular sunsets and breathtaking sea views. The beaches of the south-western coast of Sicily are among the most beautiful and varied on the island, with long stretches of golden sand, hidden coves and clear waters. For those who prefer to stay in the vicinity, the beach nestled among the rocks is only a few minutes' walk away and offers a quiet atmosphere. A few minutes further on is the sandy beach of San Marco, with bathing establishments and seaside restaurants. Golf lovers will not be disappointed, as the Verdura Resort offers two 18-hole courses integrated into the natural landscape, with spectacular views of the sea and the surrounding hills.
Interior:
The main entrance is located on the side of the villa and opens onto a welcoming hallway where a small sitting area with two original armchairs has been created, a junction point between the living area, separated by a sliding glass door, and the iron staircase leading to the upper floor. The airy open-plan area houses a comfortable seating area with modular sofas and a flat screen. Between the modern kitchen with island and the living room is the dining area, with a table seating up to 10 people. The brightness of the room is guaranteed by the wall-to-floor French window which provides access to the veranda. The kitchen leads to the ground-floor sleeping area with the first two double bedrooms, each with walk-in closet and private bathroom with shower. Both bedrooms have direct access to the outside. Also in the sleeping area is a small, but well-organised, laundry room. Returning to the entrance hallway, the designer iron staircase leads to the upper floor with three more double bedrooms, each with ensuite bathroom with shower. Each bedroom has a private portion of furnished terrace with sea view, and is equipped with a writing desk; one of the bedrooms also includes a seating area with a sofa. From the upstairs landing an external staircase leads to the rear garden. NB. The villa has some steps without handrails, so care is advised.
Park:
The land of more than 2000 sq m extends over a terraced garden on several levels, alternating areas with lawn, paths and paved platforms that connect the different entrances to the villa, creating various relaxation areas. It is possible to relax on the lawn in the shade of a generous carob tree or on a seat at the foot of the rock. At the back stretches half of the land, left in its natural, barren state, typical of the Mediterranean scrub in this area. From the dirt road leading to Villa Mulberry, the private, 2-car parking area is located immediately below the steps leading to the entrance of the villa. Here you are greeted by a solarium terrace which, via a small slope, leads to the veranda, furnished with a dining and living area shaded by a canopy and overlooking the pool, in a natural continuity. Also in this area is a mobile barbecue.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The infinity pool is located at the ground floor level, directly opposite the veranda, and offers a splendid view of the sea. It seems like a natural extension of the veranda and is easily accessible with a few steps from the internal open-plan area. The rectangular pool, measuring 9 x 4,5 m with a depth 1.50 m, is lined in stoneware tiles and has both Roman steps and a lateral ladder for access to the water. A slight difference in height of two steps separates the pool from the solarium area of about 15 sq m, equipped with sunbeds and umbrellas. A short distance away is a solar shower. The pool, with salt purification, can also be used at night thanks to both internal and external lighting, and is open all year round. It is available from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
Pets: yes, up to medium size. € 50,00 per week or part of a week per animal.
