The modern villa is located in a small complex of five family-owned villas. The villa comfortably sleeps up to four guests across its two bedrooms, with a sofa bed in the living room, sleeping two and in the kitchen area that would sleep two children. Upstairs, there is a queen-size master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom as well as a twin room with an en-suite shower room.
Outside, the large private pool is the perfect spot to soak up the beautiful views out to sea and really enjoy the tranquil surroundings. There is a dining area, fantastic for those who enjoy al fresco dining or those simply wishing to enjoy a quiet drink while watching the sunset after a busy day exploring the island or relaxing on the beach.
Villa Irida makes an excellent base for those wishing to thoroughly explore the island. Helpful amenities such as shops and restaurants can be found in the near-by village of Lazarata known for its striking turquoise waters and dramatic coastal cliffs.Located approximately 10 minutes drive from the island’s capital, Lefkada Town, Lazarata is part of a cluster of inland villages that offer a more traditional and peaceful experience compared to the island’s better-known seaside resorts. Its elevated position provides sweeping views across the verdant landscape, dotted with olive groves, cypress trees, and vineyards. Lefkada Town, the capital of the Greek island of Lefkada, is a vibrant coastal hub that blends traditional charm with contemporary energy. Characterised by its colourful Venetian-style buildings and narrow alleyways, the town offers a picturesque setting alongside its bustling marina and lively waterfront promenade. A rich cultural atmosphere pervades the town, with several museums, art galleries, and historic churches showcasing the island’s heritage. Visitors can enjoy an array of tavernas, cafes, and boutiques, making it a popular base for exploring the island. Despite its popularity, Lefkada Town retains a laid-back, authentic feel, particularly in its older quarters, offering a welcoming contrast to the more touristic beach resorts nearby. A beautiful, sandy beach can be found at Nikiana on the east-coast just 8km away.
