This old stone villa with panoramic views dates back to the 16th century. It is located in a quiet, hilly landscape in the Chianti area, 25 km from Arezzo, 35 km from Siena and 55 km from Florence. The ideal starting point to visit the art cities of Tuscany. Together with the guests of another villa (Villa Claudia) of the same owner, there is an illuminated swimming pool (10 x 20 m, depth: 1.20 m - 2.20 m) available, which is open from early May to late September. The accommodation is equipped with a wood stove. The Villa Casanova has no central heating, but it has 2 fireplaces and 4 gas heating ovens.
The villa is the ideal location for a relaxing and varied holiday in Tuscany. Visit the world famous Tuscan cities like Florence, Siena and Arezzo, and enjoy the typical Tuscan life with regional delicacies (olive oil, wine, etc.) in beautiful landscapes with lush vegetation.
The facilities of the villa include a swimming pool with sun loungers and umbrellas (open from early May to late September), a barbecue, a large well-kept garden with garden furniture, a natural pathway ideal for hiking and walking (700m) and a billiard room inside the house.
Wrought-iron garden furniture is available from 2013. The lawns are watered automatically at night, even in August.

Furthermore, a household help or a cook can be booked for a surcharge, making your stay at the villa even more pleasant.
Cooking classes on the typical Tuscan cuisine are also available on request. The chef and the assistant give lessons in English, French, Italian or Polish. At the end of each course, participants will receive a small book with some of the most famous Tuscan recipes. Each course ends with a shared meal with dishes prepared by all participants.

The villa is spread over a total of two floors and is cozy and with rustic furnishings.
Ground floor:
A large living room with open fireplace, a fully equipped kitchen and a bathroom with shower and bathtub.
First floor:
A living room with fireplace and sofa bed for two people, two double bedrooms, three twin bedrooms and three bathrooms with shower and bidet.
Extra costs to be paid on the spot:
Final cleaning: 250.00€ (compulsory); Electricity consumption: 0.40€/Kwh (compulsory); Gas consumption: 5.5€/cubic metre (compulsory); Linen (sheets and towels): 5.00€ per person; Tourist tax.
