Within walking distance is Terra Vinea, a fascinating subterranean winery offering tours and of course, tastings. You'll be only 20 minutes' drive from the beautiful town of Narbonne, with a great choice of restaurants, cafes and an excellent covered market. A similar length drive takes you to the endless miles of golden sandy beaches. Nature lovers will adore the nearby lagoon 'Etang du Doul' which offers excellent hiking opportunities and a scenic boardwalk across the water. You might be lucky enough to spot some flamingos here. Adjacent to the lagoon is the village of Peyriac-de-Mer which makes a lovely setting for lunch.
