The enviable location of Iris Beach Front Luxury Residence, is a gift, lying right on a sandy beach, at the quiet edge of the charming town of Rethymno. This charming holiday beach Villa boasts dramatic, unobstructed views of the Northern Cretan Sea, as well as the beach, the Fortezza Fortress and Rethymno bay.

Furthermore, the Villa’s position offers an exceptional combination of beauty and practical appeal, as it is just ten minutes walking to the Old City centre and all the relevant historic sites. Additionally, super markets, cafes, beach bars, bus station, pharmacy, banks and all other kinds of amenities are easily reached on foot or by bike, giving you the chance of having a totally car free holiday!

Layout
Iris Residence is well suited both as a couple's coastal retreat or a family’s self-catered getaway! Besides the fact that the Residence is fully equipped, completely and elegantly reconstructed and refurbished with the finest touches of the best private homes, it also encaptures the simplicity of water, light and air in all its grandeur. The Residence can accommodate up to 7 guests in its three spacious bedrooms, six guests in real beds & a folding bed could be provided upon request to accommodate one more guest.

Interior
The interior layout of Iris Beach Front Residence works beautifully. All set on the ground floor, the 145 m2 Villa is very convenient for families with small children or older people. Entering, the Villa features a modern, open-plan area where the living room area and the fully equipped kitchen are located. Double doors lead directly to the private pool and terrace. Some steps further you will find the elegantly decorated bedrooms, bedecked in fine linens and cloud-soft pillows to ensure a blissful night's sleep. There are also two modern bathrooms, one of them featuring a bath tub and the other one with a shower cabin, providing the perfect space to pamper yourself after a long day at the beach and sea!

Exterior
Multiple broad and tall double doors functioning as portals inviting you to move seamlessly in and out. Lead through the wooden front gate and you are quite literally right on the beach, dig your toes in the sand and enjoy a wonderful seaside break. The 100 m2 outside area is a perfect haven in which to kick back and relax, whether it’s just the two of you enjoying a romantic escape or you’re sharing the space with family and friends. Allow your self to enjoy the stunning private swimming pool (6x3 meters and 1.2 meters deep), which is wonderfully lit at night, and relax at the grassy garden or sunny slate terrace to the sounds of the sea. Have a homemade meal with traditional local products and prepare it at the BBQ facilities available at the terrace. At the outside dinning area, under the shade of a white linen umbrella, enjoy an unforgettable al fresco supper experience. The front deck, which faces directly to the sea, has the best sunset views, perfect to enjoy the real Mediterranean feel. This is the perfect area from which to fully appreciate your spectacular setting!

Iris Beach Front Residence, is part of an iconic complex - Kimata BeachFront Retreats, which includes six independent holiday homes in total, each of them with separate facilities & private entrances. Kindly note that due to the design of the complex some of the areas may be overlooked. All homes feature their own reserved sun-beds at the beach located in-front of the complex.

-Babysitting service can also be scheduled, either by hour or by the day.

These residences are settled at the quiet edge of the charming Rethymno city, in a ten minutes walking distance. All the relevant historic sites are easily reached on foot. The city of Rethymno is an ideal tourist destination for visitors who wish to explore the rich cultural heritage and the natural beauties of Crete. This well-organized city offers to visitors a variety of picturesque routes to follow and numerous historical monuments to visit.

There is nothing that is inconvenient from here, super markets, cafes, beach bars, bus station, pharmacy, banks….all reached on foot or by bike! Great for car free holidays!

Although, if you insist on renting a car, you can park it in the street beside the houses. Gratefully, there is plenty of space for your bicycles. Part of the hip new Rethymno is going by bike—with skirts and high hills if you please.
