- EuropAssistance insurance to cover penalties in the event of cancellation of the stay = In addition to objectively documentable and unpredictable health or work reasons at the time of booking, you can cancel and be reimbursed in case of reasons related to: Covid-19 infections, epidemics and pandemics that directly affect you, your travel companion or family member; terrorist attack that hit the place of stay.
- Stay cancellation guarantee for Lockdown = In the event that you have to cancel your stay due to lockdowns issued by governments in the 30 days prior to check-in due to the evolution of the Covid-19 pandemic: national lockdown Italy; local lockdown in Italy concerning the area in which the booked villa is located ("red" area or impossible to reach due to official restrictions on free circulation); national lockdown of your country of residence; local lockdown in Italy in the Municipality or in the area of residence.

Casa Maestrale is located on the northern coast of Sardinia, a stone's throw from Palau, a delightful little town characterised by inlets and coves hidden by clear, turquoise waters. It is an elegant villa to which great attention to detail has been paid in respect of the surrounding countryside: the terracotta floor and the furnishings in warm colours recall the characteristic Sardinian style while the large window overlooking the garden and the swimming pool fills it with light throughout the day. Casa Maestrale is located in a residential area and borders other properties but enjoys privacy thanks to its fully-fenced park, and is the ideal place for enjoying nature and for making trips to famous places in the surrounding area, from the nearby Costa Smeralda to the archipelago of La Maddalena. The wonderful beach of La Sciumara is about 2 km away and can also be reached on foot; along the coast are many other beaches, from that of Palau to the beaches of Porto Faro or Isolotto, united by the crystalline sea, a formidable fil rouge that distinguishes this enchanting stretch of coast.
Interior:
Casa Maestrale has two floors not connected internally (the property has two entrances: the main one, reached down a slope without steps, which coincides with the car entrance to the parking area, and a secondary one, pedestrian only, directly from the main road to the garden). The entrance on the ground floor leads into a hallway which then leads on to the sleeping area consisting of a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower, another double bedroom with French bed and a bathroom with shower. On the left, a brick arch leads to the bright open-plan living area with dining room, sitting room and a kitchenette with peninsula. A large window connects it directly to the covered veranda and garden. From the parking area, 16 steps lead down to the basement consisting of a living area, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower. Air conditioning in the bedrooms.
Park:
Casa Maestrale enjoys a well-maintained lawned garden of 170 sq m, surrounded by bougainvillea and hedges that guarantee its privacy, with access through a small wooden pedestrian gate directly from the main road. The covered veranda, directly connected to the living area of the house, is equipped with a dining table and a brick-built barbecue. Nearby is the solarium area with swimming pool. The property is fenced and has a covered parking area for three cars.Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool is located in the centre of the garden, a few metres from the outdoor living area and can be seen from the sliding windows. The perimeter is lit by lampposts. With an irregular kidney shape and measuring 5 x 4 m with a constant depth of 1.30 m, the pool is lined in PVC with a white-paved border and has chlorine purification, hydromassage jets, internal iridescent LED lights and 4 steps for access to the water. The surrounding solarium area is equipped with sunbeds, coffee tables and a cold-water shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October.
Pets: Yes, € 50,00 per animal per week. Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorized by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.
