In Tinjan, in the centre of Istria, you will find Villa Gardenia. It is a charming villa with a warm interior and a picturesque garden. It has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, and is designed to accommodate up to 8 people. With a spacious garden with pool and jacuzzi, children's playground and volleyball court, it is ideal for a family holiday away from the hustle and bustle.
On the ground floor, the first thing you will notice is the combination of warm and modern atmosphere and the light that flows throughout the whole open-plan living area. Two large glass doors leading to the terrace are positioned along the wall, allowing natural light to flood into the living room, kitchen and dining area. The living room is partially separated from the kitchen by a half wall, and the sofa can comfortably seat up to 6 people. While enjoying the company of family or friends in the living room or around the large dining table, you can take in the relaxing views of the pool, garden and Mediterranean vegetation as far as the eye can see. Prepare your speciality dish in the fully equipped kitchen with induction hob or serve your morning coffee at the kitchen counter with an unbeatable view.
The bedrooms will be your oasis of calm with a relaxing combination of soft pastel colours and white. One of the bedrooms, with a double bed and access to the swimming pool, is located on the ground floor. The other 2 bedrooms lie on the upper floor – one has a private balcony and a double bed and the other has 2 single beds. For complete comfort, all the rooms are air-conditioned, have their own bathroom and are equipped with a writing desk and TV. The colour scheme of the bedrooms is matched by the decoration of the modern bathrooms. Hairdryers are available for guests to use and each has a spacious shower cubicle.
The exterior of the villa and its 1300 m² of garden will win you over at the first glance. The property is set well apart from the other houses in the village. It is surrounded on all sides by idyllic meadows and fields, giving you complete peace and privacy. Toast with a glass of excellent local wine on the covered terrace, or enjoy a feast prepared in the summer kitchen with barbecue and mini-fridge. The swimming pool, where you can take a refreshing dip from May to October, has an entrance with steps. Next to it is a whirlpool you won't want to leave. While you are soaking up the Istrian sun, your little ones can have fun in the playground with a slide and swings, in the shade of the surrounding tree tops. Part of the garden is set up as a small football and volleyball field, so fun doesn't have to be reserved only for the youngsters.
The location of the villa is an ideal starting point for a tour of the peninsula. If you would like to visit the Adriatic pearls of Istria, we recommend visiting Poreč and Rovinj, towns that boast a rich cultural and historical heritage.
