La Torre Pelagalls is situated in the district of Queralt, an area considered the centre of the natural region of the Baixa Segarra. This beautiful area is steeped in history, with the main monuments, such as the Castell dels Comtes, acting as a cultural and social centre and revealing architectural styles like Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque. Within the old town, the Church of Santa Maria is a magnificent example of the Catalan Gothic style, featuring a distinctive bell tower and interior altarpiece. Nearby is Cal Jaume Punto, a drugstore and confectionary store dating back to 1848, which was closed in 1960 only to reopen in 2017 to welcome visitors.
