Villa Quiebre is a lovely villa for up to six people in the serene surroundings of El Barranco del Cura in the south of Gran Canaria. 




The villa is thoughtfully designed and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need, and features a light, modern decor throughout. The heart of Villa Quiebre is its expansive open-plan living room, complete with a Smart-TV, high-speed internet access, and a large sofa. The kitchen features a convenient breakfast bar and top-of-the-line appliances, including an oven, microwave, fridge, coffee maker, and all the necessary kitchen utensils. There's also a utility room with a washer-dryer - perfect for those who are enjoying an extended stay.




Also on the ground floor, you'll discover a spacious double bedroom with two single beds and a bathroom. Adjacent to this, the main bedroom awaits with its luxurious double bed, a generous dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom. Descending to the lower ground floor, you'll find another bedroom with a king-size double bed, a dressing room, and an en-suite bathroom. This level also boasts its own terrace and a dedicated games room with a table tennis table, perfect for some family-friendly competition.




What sets this villa apart is its seamless indoor-outdoor living. Glass sliding doors from every room on the main floor lead to the terrace, featuring an inviting outdoor dining area, complete with an Argentine charcoal barbecue for rustling up delicious alfresco meals. A solarium with sunbeds awaits, while the private pool (with the option to heat it at an extra cost, please see Ts&Cs) offers refreshing relaxation for guests of all ages. The pool is easily accessible via steps - so you won’t have to worry about the kids going up and down a ladder, but parents should note that there is no handrail, and the pool is unfenced, so children will need to be well-supervised during your stay.

Villa Quiebre enjoys a quiet location that offers the perfect blend of tranquillity and accessibility to a wide range of activities and amenities. Situated just a short drive from the beach, guests can easily soak up the sun, swim in the clear waters, or simply unwind on the sandy shores. For those seeking culinary delights, the highly recommended Guantánamo restaurant is a 20-minute stroll away, where you can savour delicious local and international cuisine with a view.




The surrounding area boasts more than just a stunning beach and exceptional dining. There are plenty of tranquil beaches abound, providing opportunities for peaceful relaxation and water activities wherever you travel to on the island, and nearby shopping districts and supermarkets cater to your daily needs, ensuring a hassle-free stay. The Tauro golf course is also just next door for keen golfers.




A highlight of the location is the picturesque promenade that connects Tauro to Amadores beach, Puerto Rico de Gran Canaria, and Playa del Cura. This scenic coastal path invites you to take leisurely walks, capturing breathtaking views and offering an excellent opportunity for an evening stroll at sunset. For those with a sense of adventure, Villa Quiebre serves as an excellent base for exploring Gran Canaria further. Playa del Inglés, known for its vibrant nightlife and entertainment options, is just a 20 minute drive away, as is the famous Maspalomas with its iconic sand dunes. The family-friendly town of Taurito is also easily accessible approximately 12 minutes away by car.
