- EuropAssistance insurance to cover penalties in the event of cancellation of the stay = In addition to objectively documentable and unpredictable health or work reasons at the time of booking, you can cancel and be reimbursed in case of reasons related to: Covid-19 infections, epidemics and pandemics that directly affect you, your travel companion or family member; terrorist attack that hit the place of stay.
- Stay cancellation cover due to lockdown = It protects you and your travel companions in the event that you are forced to cancel your stay in the 30 days prior to the scheduled check-in date, due to the occurrence of Covid-19 epidemic containment measures officially imposed by the Governments/competent authorities.

Mandatory extra cleaning in case of animals (€ 50,00 per animal per week or part of week). Acceptance of animals to the facility must be previously authorised by the owner upon communication of the number of animals, size and breed.

Set on the hills overlooking Montecatini Terme is Villa Cristina, an old hunting lodge of the noble family Lucchesi and today transformed into a holiday home. Since the time of the Lucchesi family, the house has been destined to many uses until today when, thanks to a careful restoration by the owner, this welcoming holiday residence was created with a view of the Valdinievole and the surrounding rolling hills. Staying in this villa you will find yourself embraced by typical Tuscan vegetation such as a large olive grove, fruit trees and various aromatic herbs. Entering from the forecourt you will find the classic layout of a two-storey house: an open-plan area with kitchen, dining area and TV corner with sofa and a bathroom with shower. An iron staircase down to the lower floor leads to a single bedroom with queen size bed and then, continuing on, to a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower. Guests who choose this property can relax in the newly-built swimming pool, located just a few metres from the house in a lateral panoramic position, or relax in the shady outdoor living area while sipping an apéritif and savouring the scents of the Tuscan countryside. The strategic position of this property will allow you to quickly reach principal tourist destinations such as: Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena and Montecatini Terme, as well as the Tyrrhenian coast with the renowned golden beaches of Versilia and its gem, Forte dei Marmi, without forgetting the famous Cinque Terre. The villa is an excellent departure point for golfers with the nearby Golf Montecatini Terme or for wellness fans who in about 20 minutes can reach Grotta Giusti, with the thermal baths in a cave, or visit the renowned thermal baths of Montecatini, already known in Roman times.

The property has two floors: on the ground floor, entering from the forecourt in front of the house, you come to the dining area with kitchenette, which adjoins the sitting room with TV corner, 2 sofas for 4 people and a bathroom with shower. An iron staircase leads down to the lower floor with the sleeping area consisting of a single bedroom with queen size bed and a double bedroom with ensuite bathroom with shower
Park:
Villa Cristina is surrounded by a 2500 sq m garden with a typical terraced conformation, completely fenced and with areas bordered by hedges to guarantee privacy, especially in the pool area. Past the entrance gate, a white gravel driveway lined with fruit trees leads to the parking area, covered by a lush pergola of kiwi, close to the villa entrance. Exiting the villa you come to a living area equipped with comfortable seating where you can relax while enjoying a cocktail under a large shade sail. Next to it is a shady area with a lovely panoramic outdoor dining area, completed by a brick barbecue. Adjacent to the outdoor dining area, a small flight of steps leads through the olive grove to the swimming pool, also be easily reached from the adjacent sleeping area.
Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.
Swimming Pool:
The swimming pool, set in the green of the Tuscan countryside, offers guests a unique view of the rolling hills of the Valdinievole. Located on the side of the property, the rectangular pool has a recessed corner with a small beach ideal for children and Roman steps for access to the water. Measuring 4 x 11 m with a constant depth of 1.40 m, it is lined in sand-coloured PVC with a border in pietra serena and has chlorine purification and internal lighting. The surrounding solarium area in non-slip teak-type resin slats, is equipped with comfortable sunbeds, tables, umbrella and a hot-water solar shower. The pool is open from the last Saturday in April to the first Saturday in October
