External Living | Private Pool & BBQ
The wonderful holiday home lays in 500m² outdoor area and is embellished with a 30m² private heated (with extra fee) swimming pool (1,40 meters deep) and a heated Spa Whirlpool (with extra fee). Guests can lounge to their loungers before idling back for al fresco barbecues under sunset skies. BBQ facilities (charcoal) are available outdoors, offering a stylish al fresco space for enjoying an evening tipple in the lovely shaded dining area. Light the barbecue to celebrate long summer evenings. The outdoor area provide the most beautiful and informal space to make meals together, have long, late night conversations after a long day of adventure. Comfy lounge areas are also available outdoors, in order to enjoy your coffee and drinks by the pool.



Outdoor Pool & Spa Whirlpool Heating Policy: 

- Pool & Spa Whirlpool Temperature | Heating temperature could vary up to 26°C subject to the outdoor weather conditions.

- Preferred Months | Pool & Spa Whirlpool heating is typically used during the months March - Mid June & October, November.
- Advance Notice | 2 days’ notice prior arrival is mandatory for the pool & spa whirlpool to reach the optimal temperature.

- Additional Fees | 50€/day
- Booking Duration | Pool & Spa Whirlpool heating is exclusively bookable for the entire stay, at the cumulative cost as outlined above.

- Weather Conditions | When the outside temperature is above 25 °C or in case of rain it shall not operate. Kindly note that a pool cover is not available.

Internal Living | Bedrooms & Bathrooms

This captivating ground floor Villa boasts exquisite interiors that exude a certain ethereal elegance, in its 120m² indoor space. Offering a bespoke design, the exclusive Villa boasts three bedrooms & two bathrooms (one shared & one en-suite), each flaunting a distinctive look and feel.


The Villa can comfortably accommodate up to 6 guests in real beds and two extra guests can be accommodated - one in a folding bed which can be provided upon request at one of the bedrooms and one in the couch of the living room area. The maximum capacity is 8 guests.


Additionally, right next to Eumelia Villa, another Villa is located, each of them with its own private pool and separate facilities.

Location Overview



Eumelia Villa is located in the very heart of the Cretan country side, near a beautiful rural village. The traditional village of Asi Gonia, just a short 10 minute drive, is a beautiful village where shopping facilities for everyday's necessities can be found , providing butcher, bakery, grocery store, mini market, cafe, local cheese shops and taverna. A beautiful sandy beach can be also found at a distance of 30 minutes, Episkopi beach, with local bars & restaurants, equipped with sun beds and parasols, ready to welcome you in its clear blue water. However, there are many beautiful beaches all over the island catering all needs - busy, secluded, whatever you are looking for, you won't have far to go.

You should absolutely visit Argiroupoli, which is conveniently located at a 20 minutes distance away from the villa. It is a traditional village with a long heritage of history! You can happily spend a whole day in Argyroupolis. You can easily do ecological shopping, dine on wonderfully fresh trout and, above all, experience at first-hand how many a Cretan village today was once a town of much greater significance in antiquity and the Middle Ages.

Don’t miss the chance to admire the Agia Paraskevi church, the sarcophagus and the ancient columns. The second main sight in the historic village centre are the remains of a colourful Roman floor mosaic. After this tour you might be feeling hungry. Drive towards the north coast and after a few minutes you will arrive at several tavernas in a heavily forested section of valley. Ten gushing springs originate here, providing some of the drinking water for the city of Rethymno. Several water mills used to be situated here.



During your stay you shouldn’t let the opportunity to walk, hike or jog around the area go unexploited. The song birds and cicadas will keep you company, day and night and your body and mind will benefit from the fresh, revitalising country side air. For the more adventurous ones, we can help you arrange a hiking trip in paths and caves with an expert guide! Moreover, the sandy beach of Frangokastello, famous for its Venetian castle, is a short drive away and worth a visit.
