There are many well marked cycling and hiking trails in the immediate vicinity. The Erzgebirgsbahn station is around three hundred metres away. Whether in the summer or winter - the town and the region offer numerous options that leave nothing to be desired. Excursions include: Marienberg, Annaberg-Buchholz, Oberwiesental, city tours to Chemnitz (approx. 25 km) or Dresden (approx. 70 km), Karlsbad and Prague.
