Casa Colibri is a beautiful 3 beds/3 baths house with stunning ocean views from every corner of the house. This gated house is located in Tierra Mistica, an upscale gated community in N. Santa Teresa, across from Rocamar Beach. It's far away from the crowds, traffic, party noises & dust, but close enough to all the beaches, restaurants, supermarkets, and more. Your stay will receive Class A hospitality from our friendly & highly knowledgeable staff, who'll make your stay special and remarkable.

Our property managers will check you in and will be available to help you 24/7 with all house needs, local activities such as restaurant recommendations, car/quad rental, surfing lessons, horseback riding, yoga, Pilates, massages, deep sea fishing, zip line, surfing lessons, nature tours, a private chef, and much more.A full wheel drive (or 4x4) car or quad is needed.


Santa Teresa is a spectacular tropical paradise with white sandy beaches, turquoise water and incredible sunsets. For surfers, Santa Teresa has some of the best breaks on the Pacific coast and for wildlife enthusiasts, there is plenty to see everywhere around you! The Cabo Blanco Nature Reserve is just around the corner. The restaurants are incredible and fresh fish is available wherever you go. There is lots to do in ST from zip lining, to horseback riding, to paddle boarding or fishing. You are close to yoga studios, eco tours and lots of wonderful restaurants and bars for a fun night out. There is a grocery store within walking distance and an organic market only a short drive away. Come adventure with us!

Casa Colibri is a 3/3, two-story house (250 square meters = 2700 sq. ft.) that can accommodate up to 6 guests. It's absolutely the perfect house for a family vacation. The first floor has a large, fully equipped kitchen and a living room with a full bathroom. It has large glass doors that will let you enjoy the ocean views while cooking or just reading a book. Step outside to a large covered patio and infinity pool with absolutely stunning views. You will also enjoy an outdoor sitting area, an outdoor shower, a surfboard rack, fully equipped outdoor BBQ and lounge chairs, and lots and lots of hummingbirds and butterflies. On the second floor, there are 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. There are two bedrooms with king-size beds. The middle room has 2 futon sofas that convert to 'full-size' beds. The stunning views are visible from every room. The master bedroom also has a stunning view of a nature preserve. Each room has its own A/C unit, ceiling fan, built-in closet, and security safe. WiFi is available throughout the house (100MB speed) and a Bluetooth Sonos speaker. The 2nd floor also has a working station with a printer. Your stay will receive Class A hospitality with free cleaning services, fresh linens, towels, beach towels, and all equipment needed for infants and small children. Our kitchen is FULLY equipped for all of your cooking needs, including filtered reverse osmosis drinking water (so you don't need to buy water), a wine cooler, a BBQ and wine/cocktail needs, a Nespresso machine, a coffee machine, a blender, and more. Restaurants, cafés, supermarkets, grocery stores, and shopping stores are only a few minutes away. Banks and ATMs are about a 10-minute drive away. Our property managers will be available to help you with all local activities, restaurant recommendations, a private chef, COVID tests, car or quad rental, surfing lessons, horseback riding, yoga, Pilates, massages, deep sea fishing, zip lines, nature tours, a private chef, and more.

Your group will have access to the entire house, patio, infinity pool, garden, BBQ, outdoor shower, with exception to storage rooms.

Animals & Insects: Get ready to see wildlife in its natural habitat! Howler and white-faced monkeys often pass through the trees next to house, along with iguanas and raccoons! Being in Costa Rica, you might also spot harmless insects like ants, cockroaches or geckos, especially during the rainy season. Don’t worry, this is just part of the tropical environment, not a cleanliness issue!
Power Outages: Power cuts are common in Santa Teresa and you may experience them during your stay. This is a normal part of the local environment.
Humidity: Santa Teresa has an average annual relative humidity of 74%, with peaks up to 87% in October and lows around 71% in February. This high humidity can make it difficult for clothes to dry, especially during the rainy season. It’s completely normal for clothing to take longer to dry in these conditions.
